JoistDeck 37 is an acoustic product that is suitable for use on refurbishment timber floors, when the existing floorboards are to be replaced.

This high-performance acoustic board is designed to be installed directly on to joists with a resilient acoustic ceiling system below.

The product comprises a 22mm tongue & groove 4 P5 moisture resistant chipboard laminated to a 15mm chip foam resilient layer.

Acoustic Perimeter Strip is also recommended for use around the edge of the room.

Fixings should not be installed through the boards as it is a floating floor.

Typical Applications – Any timber floor refurbishment project where problems with noise have been encountered and the existing floorboard are to be replaced. Projects where height restrictions exist but a reliable performance is still required. Materials change of use Approved Document E projects when used with an appropriately insulated ceiling. Ideal when looking for an improvement in acoustic insulation but access is only available from the above property.
