SuperLag Type Technowrap 2

CMS Danskin Acoustics SuperLag Technowrap 2 Is A Flexible Material Manufactured From Strips Of Mineral Fibre

CMS Danskin Acoustics SuperLag Technowrap 2 is a flexible material manufactured from strips (lamella) of mineral fibre bonded together to form a lamella mat.

The four part laminate incorporates a Class ‘O’ reinforced foil backed lamella matt spacer layer a heavy polymeric mass barrier and an outer reinforced foil vapour barrier meeting Class ‘O’ of the UK Building Regulations. Being of a lamella construction CMS Danskin Acoustics Technowrap 2 offers excellent flexibility and strength.

Applications for SuperLag Type Technowrap 2

CMS Danskin Acoustics SuperLag Technowrap 2 is designed to provide a high standard of acoustic attenuation to ducts pipes and enclosures. For optimum acoustic performance the isolation of the mass layer from the underlying surface is critical. SuperLag Technowrap 2 with its lamella construction eliminates any flattening of the insulation on curvesor corners. It is therefore ideal for pipe work or similar curved surfaces maintaining a consistent thickness throughout its cross-section.

Benefits for SuperLag Type Technowrap 2

  • Excellent sound attenuation.
  • Highly effective thermal insulation.
  • Easy to handle and install.
  • Excellent fire resistance & temperature stability.
  • Flexible and durable.
  • Maintains thickness at corners bends and fixing locations.

Insulation Fixing Pins

A range of insulation hangers to provide instant mechanical fixing of preformed insulation to various surfaces.

They are often used as the sole means of support without the need for any additional adhesive bonding. They can also be used as a temporary aid to installation where additional mechanical support is also required. Used efficiently they are a means of considerably reducing on-site labour costs.

PIB Sheeting

Tough waterproof and weather resistant rubber sheet based on Polyisobutylene (PIB).

It is coloured black and has excellent resistance to abrasion mechanical damage and weathering. It has very low water vapour permeability is unaffected by sunlight ozone and extremes of temperatures and will not crack with age.

PIB Sheeting is easy to install using solvent welding
Suitable wielding agents 1 solvents are readily available.
No special adhesives are required.

The sheet is dusted with talc to ensure smooth easy unwind from the roll.

Waterproof covering for thermal insulation on pipework and ventilation trunking.

  • High UV Resistance
  • Resistant to cracking abrasion mechanical damage and weathering
  • Very low water vapour permeability
  • No Special adhesives required
